Frequently asked questions

Answers about selection, installation conditions, smart platforms and product documents.

Where should I start when choosing a product?

Start with the location: strips, controllers and sensors for stairs; outdoor lights for gardens; under-bed or rechargeable lights for bedside use. If unsure, send the location and dimensions through the inquiry form.

Can I order directly from the specifications shown?

Not yet. The current specifications are selection drafts. Confirm the actual model and specifications before ordering.

Can I freely combine stair lights, controllers and sensors?

Not on appearance or product name alone. Power, interfaces, protocols and load must match. If you already have equipment, send its model or a photo of the label.

Can lighting be added after renovation?

It depends on cable routes and mounting options. Send photos, dimensions and the power supply location so we can check the available installation methods.

Is an outdoor light suitable for every outdoor location?

No. The light, supply and connectors each have protection requirements. Tell us about rain exposure, standing water, sprays or coastal conditions.

Does every product work with Mijia or Tuya?

No. Support varies by model. Tell us your platform, device region and required features so the model and gateway requirements can be checked.

Where can I get the product instructions?

This page provides Chinese PBL30, PBL36, PBL42 and PBL91 manuals and bilingual planning checklists. PBL30 and PBL36 use the original foldout layout. Check the model, revision and unit label; request other manuals and wiring diagrams through the inquiry form or brand WeCom.

Are all-on and sequential lighting controllers the same?

No. PBL36 is a two-wire carrier all-on model. For sequential, auxiliary flowing or color effects, verify the controller, drivers and strips separately. PBL42 does not support auxiliary flowing strips. PBL91 five-color and PBL92 RGBW are also separate configurations.

How do I choose an aurora kit? Is the supply rating its consumption?

Measure each cove first. The 2/5/10/15/20 m kits have 100/100/200/200/300 W supplies respectively; supply ratings are not actual consumption. The 15 m kit has one 10 m and one 5 m roll; the 20 m kit has two 10 m rolls. Each includes one controller. Confirm connections, control-point count and power injection against the matching wiring diagram.

Can I substitute a 9 V or 12 V supply for an under-bed light?

Do not substitute a supply based only on this page or appearance. WS-PBL26-6 WeChat and WS-PBL81 Mi Home kits are listed as 6 m, 3000 K, with sensing on both sides, but the manuals' 9 V input and 12 V strip labels still need confirmation. Send adapter, controller and strip labels to verify input, output and matching. The USB version has separate ratings.

Can the rechargeable radar controller use any 1–7 m strip?

No. The listed 1–7 m range is an optional-strip range for WS10P02, not a compatibility claim for arbitrary strips. Confirm strip voltage, power, connector, battery and charging requirements. Runtime also depends on brightness, length, daily activations and on-time.

What information should I prepare for support?

Provide the model, purchase record, symptoms and photos or video. Stop using equipment with unusual heat, odors or electrical faults and contact a qualified professional. Warranty, service scope and fees depend on the product and purchase terms.
